Needle Felting-2

I am having a such great fun working on my needle felting. If you are interested in learning and getting supplies - check out http://www.livingfelt.com (Tell Marie that I sent you okay?)  They are super people to do business with and are a great help in any questions you have, as well as carry the right supplies.

Now to my progress.  You remember in one of my photos I showed my yellow pin cushion, the first item I felted.  Well, now that I have more needles the cushion needs to be larger, so I am using my pieces of leftover roving to felt to the original.

I have tried out making some faces/heads, learning to make facial features for characters.  In the picture you can see the doll I am working on.

I hope these will inspire you to try something.

Since I received my dollmaking CD from LivingFelt.com, I have started making a doll with an armature. I have to say an armature is not my favorite thing to make, but it sure helps in the long run.

Be sure to check back and see the progress on my armature doll. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I love comments!

Until next time/Deb
